The ladies spread eagle is the perfect snack for your busy weekdays.
I made this recipe from scratch, using some chickpeas and the recipe I had in my fridge.
(This recipe is adapted from the Chickpea Spread Eagle Cookbook.)
It’s super simple, but the flavor and texture is amazing.
This recipe is a perfect snack to eat on a weeknight.
I used the chickpea flour to make the spread, and then I also added a little extra chickpease powder.
When it comes to baking, I like to keep the baking time to a minimum.
If you are using store-bought bread, just bake the spread at 350°F for 10 minutes, and it will look and taste great.
If I am baking this for a group, I usually use a pizza stone for this recipe.
It’s also a great option for a quick breakfast.
It makes a delicious filling for pancakes or a big batch of muffins.
Ingredients 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (I use whole wheat)
